Structure Fire - Feb. 9, 2010

The Baraga fire Department responded to a structure fire at 110 Oak St. The alarm came in at 9:16PM. Upon arrival, an outbuilding adjacent to the primary structure was fully involved and fire was impinging heavily on the 2 story house. The residence was unoccupied at the time.

Turnout Gear project

Thanks to the efforts of the firefighters, we were able to purchase new turout gear for the department. We would like to thank the Keweenaw Bay indian Community for their generous support of the Dept. Without them this project would not have been possible. We would also like to thank Rural Development and the Village of Baraga for their contributions as well.
