Baraga FD & Auxilliary - Children's Halloween Party

Firefighter Ron Hueckstaedt and friend at the annual fire department childrens Halloween Party on October25, 2008. This years party was a great success. We had many children and parents attend. The kids played games, braved the haunted house, entered the costume contest, and also browsed the fire prevention display.

Turnout Gear project

Thanks to the efforts of the firefighters, we were able to purchase new turout gear for the department. We would like to thank the Keweenaw Bay indian Community for their generous support of the Dept. Without them this project would not have been possible. We would also like to thank Rural Development and the Village of Baraga for their contributions as well.

Firefighter Applications

The Baraga Fire Department is accepting applications for firefighter. Download the application here and turn it in to any Baraga Firefighter or drop it off at the village office.
